The YGM Raymond mill, also known as the high-pressure suspension grinding mill, is a new generation of ring-roll mill that upgrades the classic Raymond mill technology. It features a high-pressure spring system that applies significantly greater grinding force to the material between the roller and ring. This YGM grinding mill achieves finer output, higher throughput, and lower energy consumption compared to standard Raymond mills. With its integrated high-efficiency classifier, it functions as a complete high pressure Raymond mill system capable of producing powder from 80 mesh to 425 mesh for a wide range of non-flammable, non-explosive minerals with Mohs hardness below 9.3.
The defining feature of the YGM Raymond mill is its high-pressure spring assembly. The grinding rollers are pressed against the ring with a force 30% greater than in traditional models. This intensified pressure crushes material more efficiently, allowing the mill to process harder minerals and achieve a 15–25% higher capacity at the same motor power. Your YGM grinding mill simply produces more powder per kilowatt-hour.
The integrated high-efficiency turbine classifier in the high pressure Raymond mill offers greater precision and a wider adjustment range. You can dial in the exact fineness from coarse 80 mesh (180 μm) down to ultra-fine 425 mesh (33 μm). The steep particle size distribution ensures there are no oversized particles, making the powder ready for high-specification applications in paints, plastics, and paper.
The YGM Raymond mill uses high-chromium alloy or耐磨锰 steel for the grinding roller sleeves and ring. The high-pressure springs are manufactured from 60Si2Mn steel for fatigue resistance. The shovel blade and air duct liners are reinforced. Together, these upgraded materials extend the service life of wear components by 1.5–2 times compared to standard models, cutting maintenance costs and downtime for your YGM series mill.
The grinding cavity of this YGM grinding mill has been redesigned for better material flow. A powerful centrifugal fan creates a strong upward airstream that sweeps fine particles out of the grinding zone immediately, preventing over-grinding and allowing fresh feed to enter faster. The result is a throughput increase of 10–20% compared to the equivalent standard Raymond model.
Moisture in raw materials can cause caking and blockage. The high pressure Raymond mill can be equipped with a hot air inlet, allowing it to accept materials with up to 6% moisture (or higher with hot air). It flash-dries the feed during grinding, saving you the investment in a separate rotary dryer and ensuring uninterrupted, year-round operation.
The entire YGM series mill operates under a sealed, negative-pressure system. A pulse-jet bag dust collector captures airborne particles, keeping emissions ≤30 mg/m³. The workshop remains clean and safe, and the recovered dust is recycled as product, increasing your overall yield.

Yes. By equipping the YGM Raymond mill with a hot air furnace at the air inlet, it can grind and dry materials with up to 15% moisture in a single pass.
